Comfortable--hardlly tell you have a shoe on at all. One thing not sure I like is that there isn't any stitching from the leather topside to the sole of the shoe--believe is glued and this may separate eventually. But still like the shoe.

I searched for the Astrid II for 4 years before I found them. Was immensely satisfied with them. Now I am looking for another pair and disappointed that they are discontinued. I looked at the Astrid III only to find that they are poorly made and very heavy compared to II. I sent them back and are using my old shoes. For those who never had II, the III looks good to them. The old saying "If it's not broke dont fix them." True words.

These shoes are soft and mold to feet. They have NO arch support. Ordered half size larger so I can use insert in shoe. This has worked out great. The difference with the Astrid III is it is made in China, whereas the Astrid II was made in USA. Still prefer this shoe over all other bowling shoes.

I had the Astrid II's for many years, and was so disappointed that the Astrid III's do not come in narrow. Way too wide and can't tighten with the laces. You had a great product in the II's. They were also much softer than the clunky III's. I'd give anything to find the II's in a 9 narrow.
