I purchased the Dexter SST 4 Teal & Blue and those were light years ahead of "Typical fixed sole shoes". I wore those out and decided to purchase another pair of Dexters. I owned Linds before I got the SST 4 and there was a HUGE difference between those two as well and Linds are great shoes. Needless to say, I am totally ecstatic with my purchase of the Dexter SST 5 Limited Edition. There aren't better shoes on the market, period.
Product arrived fast and in perfect shape. I honestly am still in shock that I purchased a pair of brand new Dexter SST 5 Limited Edition Red/White/Blue shoes for $49.99. The SST 4 that I had prior to these were $250, but that was 8 years ago. They only made 1200 of these SST 5 Limited Editions and I own #1181 of #1200

This is my second pair of Dexter bowling shoe (wore Dexter golf shoes for years when I played), the first being the SST 7 SE. I purchased this second pair to give myself a bit of variety. The SST 5 Limited is a bit different from my black pair of shoes, but like I mentioned I wanted some variety. I was initially worried about fit especially ordering online. But, as I should have expected with Dexter shoes, the fit was perfect. The construction of the shoe is excellent and I am looking at them through the eyes of a footwear developer for a major action sports footwear company. These are great shoes with a smooth feel on the approach, from first steps through the slide and into the braking. Awesome!
