They are great because you don't have to worry about the laces coming undone. My feet tend to swell after a long day at work so they are never too tight. I've had my pair for three years now and they still are holding up well. They are easy to slip on and off. I hope they never quit making them. I got hooked on these kind when I had to wear steal toes for a previous job. So I figured they would be good for bowling, and they are!
