Comments about Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver:

Drilled it a night before my league started got 3 games with it took a little bit to get used to and to find the right line but the next night by the second game in league i had it dialed in. And jumped my average up buy 30 pins. I feel more confident with my game now and excited to get to lanes and see what i can do. And dont worry bout the smell i was kind of iffy about it before i ordered the ball but once it got here it wasnt bad i actually like it but its not overwhelming i can hardly smell it when i get up to bowl. Delivery was great to 2 days and it was here.

I used Storm equipment in the early 2000's loved them all. Now I have the Tropical Heat and it is the best ball I own. I have two pearls and now with the hybrid restive coverstock I can make quick adjustments in different houses.. Great job Storm for your great product lines..

Comments about Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver:

This ball eats even the heaveyest oil! The ball does however wait until the very last second to cut HARD RIGHT into the pocket. I definitly recomend this to a high rev bowler. The fregrance is overwelming at times too.

Product described as black/silver, but it looks more like a dark purple. Color doesn't affect the ball's performance though! 4 games and 4 consecutive 1st frame strikes! Love it!

Comments about Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver:

This ball is the best I've owned yet. You can play all over the lanes. My best series was a 151,227,and a 225 for 603. As soon as this ball hits friction it slams into the pocket and all you can here is an explosion! So try this ball out! Any type of bowler would love it!

Comments about Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver:

This was my first bowling ball. I got it around 8 years ago and it's still my favorite. Sort of my "old faithful". It hooks great and rarely ever goes off target. It's suffered a few kinks throughout the years but even so it works amazingly. Definitely a good ball for any level of bowler.

Comments about Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver:

The guy at my proshop drilled this ball perfectly for me it fits like a glove. In the past 2 weeks since ive bought it, it spent 5 days in repair after my first league session with it. My game has improved by about 40 pins but i'm sure i could have done that with a similar performance ball without having to watch a 2 week old ball fall apart after about 50 games.

This ball is very awesome! It has great backend and is very smooth through the front part of the lane. I bowled a Ham Bone with this bad boy yesterday. And people also think this is a low end ball well think again and try it out!

Hard to find better performance in a 12 lb. ball. First game out of the box was a 237. Very pleased with ball reaction and pin hit.

Best ball on the market for value
By Scooby from Franklin, TN on 1/6/2011

Comments about Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver:

I have used this ball for 6 games in league. I have averaged 232 with it so far. The only problem i have had with it is it will occasionally cut too hard through the nose and leave the 3-6-4-7 but other than that split i love it. i actually look forward to bowling now and feel like every game could be my next 300. my other balls i have are the virtual gravity and the invasion which i shot my 300 with but i prefer this ball over both even polished it hooks more than the other two with tons of backend.

Frail
By Nestea Ice from Piittsburgh, PA on 12/24/2010
Pros:
Descent curve
Cons:
Strong smell
Best Uses:
Good starter ball
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Storm Tropical Heat Black/Silver:

I have owned this ball for less than four weeks, it already broke. I don't loft nor toss the ball, i lay it down. Most people that i know who own this ball have all had it break, too. Warning, yours might also crack. It seems that the higher grade bowling balls from STORM balls crack/break less.
