I'm a tweener, Reign is very smooth down the middle of lane clear thru to pocket where it DESTROYS pins. Good recovery if sent wide of target. With a little hand this one keeps you in the pocket all day.

This was a gift from my wife. before this I threw a polished Urethane that I have had for 12+ years. I have been bowling for years but found my average flattening out at 150. I only threw a single 200+ game this season before this ball.

At first it took a little getting used to. obviously the reaction compared to my urethane was a real shock. after about a month of regular use and regular cleanings with Reacta Shine this ball came around. The ball rolls smooth and hits like a truck. my average has picked up 30 pins in the last few weeks and to date I have thrown several 600 series and regularly roll 200+ games during practice.

Have had this ball now for a couple of weeks been averageing very well with it now. This past week shot 722 actual with it 255, 246, 221 great ball and gets perfect carry only left two ten pins all night and they were both my fault

I had the Reign drilled off the #2 pattern thinking it would have a lot of back end and instead the ball loses steam at the break point. Absolutely the worst ball I have ever thrown from STORM.

this ball is perfect. I am 16 and average right at 200 and the first seven weeks in my saturday league that had this ball i threw 5 700's and 2 650+ series. I can go a little slower (14) and play inside out or do what i love to do and throw it faster (16) straight down the 8 board and let it get farther down the lane before it drives right through the pocket.

Things that are great about it,has great power and and drive. I shot my 4th 300 in leaue on my last game with it. When lanes or dry, hooks to much for me, buy a great mid range bowling ball.

I am a tweener, used Storm's Key Drilling Guide Layout # 1...the reign allows me to pick up more boards in the heads, I now can start a bit inside of the horde and send the ball to the dry and the ball reads the lane wonderfully and transitions off the break smoothly and makes a powerful move to and threw the pocket, as the lanes breakdown I continue moving deeper and the ball still comes back with hit...this ball really gave me a "shot" I didn't have before.

I own everything Storm has to throw at you: Virtual Gravity, Virtual Energy, Hy-Road, Gravity Shift, Invasion, Dimension and Second Dimension, Original Shift, Reign, Rapid Fire, Natural. Even tho I've retired some of these from competition I am never disapointed by any of them. I have my Reign pin down spliting the fingers. I like this ball as lanes breakdown during tournament play because it takes less arm effort to push the ball down a dryer lane. still holds line consistantly and usually if I don't strike its because my hand slacks off and doesn't stay firm. Great during league play when patterns offten aren't much more than 40' max. PBA patterns are erased with this ball if you can manage your speed. My girlfriend has one of these too and raised her average 30 pins. I'm a 231 avg and live and die with Storm. and I cannot stress how Storm creates an arsenal within their products so well. Wtih the exception in the shift series..

[...] I just finished my summer league and ended up with a 187 average. My Mutant Cell was curving a little too much and I was leaving a lot of large splits. I had this ball drilled and I have bowled 16 games since Thursday night. I have had two games under 200 (184 & 197)and 14 games over 200 including 268 259 257 & 248 games. I'm in heaven. This ball is smooth from release to it's breaking point and then it heads for the pocket. That's when the fun starts.

Given as a gift. First ball for a new bowler. Bowler would usually bowl around 100. First two games w/the Storm Reign were 120 and 129. He likes it. Ball is attractive. I've noticed that it made the bowler more consistent with our group of people. Now I have competition!

I love the ball...bought it yesterday 4-9-10, and i havent shot under 200. for my style of throwing and the way it was drilled, its the best ball out of my aresenal. My hammer sauce and Roto Grip Cell dont even compare. very strongly advise this ball. Great ball for a good price.

I'm a stroker that can put extra revs on the ball when needed. This has become my primary ball, first and most times only ball out the bag (except for spare ball). I can use this ball on conditions from medium-light to medium-heavy. On the light side simply move left and swing it. On the heavier oils move right and play down and in. It crushed the pins, blows them off the deck on pocket hits. The the good thing about the hitting power is, the pins stay low which means good carry when you don't make that perfect shot. My average has gone up 20 pins using this ball which I use most of time now. My other balls seldom see play... only a few times where I've seen burnt or extremely wet lanes and had to use other equipment. Love this ball so much I'm buying at least 2 more to have over the next couple of years. May purchase a Reign of Fire to compliment, understand the ROF is a bit stronger than the Reign which will be better for wetter conditions.

I recommended this ball to a lady friend with a 143 average. After showing her how to use it she bowled her first 600 series with a 261 game. Everyone I know that has this ball is very pleased with it.

I am a collegiate bowler and this has become my go to ball. On long patterns after we break the pattern down i pull this ball out. If you get it outside it roars back, if you miss in it will hold fairly well. I can also play a fade with it on the burn. Out of the box it was a little awkward, but once broken in is fantastic, but it is fading faster than id like at 300 games.

I bought this ball as a gift for my fiance. We had it drilled tonight and he threw a game just to get the feel for it. He's big on the approach, with a power stride, and he has a habit of throwing a nasty hook. This ball was exactly what he needed to calm that throw down! he missed his mark by twelve boards, rode the ditch, and still found the pocket. It was nothing but pocket or head pin with this ball. His Revs stayed very tight and consistent, with no momentum lost. Even after his line broke down, the ball stayed true to course, and didn't bite. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! I think I was more excited watching him bowl than throwing myself! (girls, if you wanna get in good with him, pick this up!)
You've got to try this ball!

I have a average of just 125. I throw a very nice hook ball that I have never been able to work to my advantage very well it would either hook too much or not enough for consistent results. This is my first high performance ball, I was looking for a ball that would enhance my hook ball and this ball did just that. I used the ball for the first time tonight and got my first ever 200 game.. yay! It hooked a lot more precisely and without any extra effort by me, hit the pocket nearly every time. My scores tonight (league bowling) 153, 212 and 209. The first game I was getting used to the ball with how much different it was compared to a plastic ball and it was heavier than my other balls.

Wow is all I can say. When I bought this I was looking for a step down from my Virtual Gravity when the line broke down. What I ended up with was a beast of a ball that made the VG the new step down. I have to play 3-4 boards left(feet) of the VG to get this ball into the pocket.

The Reign is way more ball than I thought I was buying and now I'm going to have to go back and get me a Fast I think!

I have never thrown a ball that is this forgiving on the mid lane you throw wide and it still finds the pocket. I love this ball and would defiantly recommend.

This product is definitely designed for med to heavy oil. It has many ways of drilling to produce early or late hook. Mine was drilled for aggresive hook with medheavy oil,stance left of center across the 5 board. The ball has tremendous pin action, especially with light hits.

The hook characteristics are to aggresive for light to med oil that doesn't carry down.

if you throw high revs with alot of ball speed this is your ball. i have a Virtual energy and love it, but this ball is one of the best and for less $$$$ you can miss all day and hit pocket the back end is insane!!!!
