Our Hot Line Performance Series has always been and always will be the most hook for the money in the industry. We had great success with our Street Rod Series of bowling balls and the Turbine weight block. With today's changing oils and conditioners, we felt it was time to upgrade the tire that touches the lane The Fast and the Furious feature the R2S coverstock. This second generation of Reactor coverstock has amplified the hook potential of the original: so in translation, we have continued our tradition of value & performance. Now is the time to step on that pedal to the RIGHT!

Comments about Storm Storm Fast Pearl:

I have made a comeback to bowling and decided for the money and my skill level this was a good choice. I raised my average 22+ pins in one season and placed high in the state tourney. I will say however the ball coverstock is very weak and subject to being marred by ball returns. Mine after one night of use new, the ball had many deep grooves cut into the stock. It also looses its finish rather fast and had to refinsh to regain the higher polish shine from new. Not good on medium to heavy oil and has a tendancy to not hook on one roll then hook like mad the next. Overall I like the ball but only seems to be a ball to be used on lanes specific for its structure or to say it simply it is a "Part Timer". I would highly suggest the use of Storm Reactive cleaner on this ball as it does suck up oil like a sponge. Not only after bowling but during bowling I use the cleaner!

Comments about Storm Storm Fast Pearl:

Background: Bowling for 20+ years, only using Storm products, averaging 211-214 past few years and I throw a medium to high rev ball... left of center to about 10-15 board.

I got this ball about 3-4 weeks ago and it's been amazing. Out of the box, post-drill, shot a 750. It has a great smooth arch with just enough snap in the back end to pull right through the pocket. The specs for this ball say it doesn't hook as much as it really does, but with a little speed this thing holds very well. I would not recommend using on a dry to medium lane oil as this thing will take off early on you and be unforgiving.

Since my first use, in league I have shot 750, 690, 720, and last night 811. This is my go-to ball to begin the night, and as long as the lanes hold up, I've been sticking with it and it's been pretty good. My backup is a Second Dimension which I've polished to give it a little smoother reaction, and It's been a great combo.

Basically, this ball has been an amazing addition to my bag and I won't be needing another ball anytime soon.

Comments about Storm Storm Fast Pearl:

This is the first ball I have ever had. I had about a 120 average with house balls and then i got this one. My average has gone up to about 140 but I think that is just becasue I bowl more. You really have to hit the pocket perfectly for a strike or you might get lucky in the 1-2 pocket. ait doesn't have the explosion as some of the other balls I have seen. Lots of splits.

Comments about Storm Storm Fast Pearl:

I'm a first time league bowler. I got this ball as an upgrade from plastic balls. Since November of 09 my average has gone from 139 to 173 with this ball. 19 200+ games with a high of 247. Four 600 series with a high of 685. Placed third in my first tournament (180 & under div). From worst to first with this ball. I do need a different ball for heavy oil patterns. Probably the Storm Reign real soon.

Comments about Storm Storm Fast Pearl:

Best Storm ball I have ever owned to date and I have used many over the years. Just bought this ball and the tropical storm indigo/ivory in a 14 lb and they both are excellent when it comes to hooking into the pocket.Where I play it's usually mid oil and I have to lay this ball down at around the 13th board or so from the right side. If I get close to the 3rd arrow I brooklyn almost everytime due to the last minute break on this ball. Anyways awsome ball 100% recommended if you have good control on your ball speed and rev's. i still use my Hammer nasty as primary but I love them both. Great ball that hits the pocket like a true beast!!!

I use my ball on all lane conditions and it hits with power every time. I will only use this ball and the ice for second spare shots. If you are serious about moving up your game this is the ball for you. Bowlers in our league call me the prow now. I am not a prow but my game hase moved up to the top average now.

I use this for many high school tournaments as well as juinor master tournaments. This ball gets me out of many jams, my main ball dosnt carry as much any more and this ball will almost always do the job i would recomend this to any level of bowler no mater what skill you have. To add it is very forgiving. It is my favorite ball in my bag(six). And i shot my first 700 with it.

sorry for bad spelling.

I bought this ball in September and have found it to be a good ball for the 2nd and 3rd game. It doesn't carry as well in the oil for the first game. I shot my best series with it last night with a 590 and my highest game of a 253! Not bad for a 160 average!! I love this ball!!!

Comments about Storm Storm Fast Pearl:

I purchased this ball in order to start throwing a hook, and selected this ball on the recommendation of the bowling ball salesman. Prior to purchasing the Storm Fast I just through a straight ball and had no idea on how to throw a hook. I also opted for the finger and thumb inserts, which I highly recommend. Once you learn the basics of throwing a hook your off to the races with this ball, if your delivery is consistent so is the ball, my Storm Fast is the best! My average went from 112 to 145 in a matter of weeks, after a couple of months I've been hitting 180's fairly consistently, with a couple of +200 games thrown in there!

Wow, I got this ball a few days ago, and it is great! If the oil is too heavy, the hook will die down quite a bit, but it can be easy to adjust to. It can have great back end, and perfect for if you need a ball with a polished finish.

This ball has great length and a strong back end motion. This is not a ball to use for heavy oil, but if you're on medium or short conditions this ball will work great. Perfect choice for the Viper and Cheetah patterns.

Comments about Storm Storm Fast Pearl:

This ball is amazing. You can not beat this combination of cover, block, and affordable price. I thought this would be a condition specific ball, and have found in a very short time it will play on almost anything. This ball should be a solid play for almost any bowler on the normal house conditions, and if you run into a tournament that is not souped up it should play very well. It gives excellent length with alot more backend than I expected, but it is still very forgiving and predictable. The only knock I could see is that on some heavier oil patterns it may not have quite enough cover to finish consistently, otherwise this is a great all around ball.
