If your throwing the ball and desire more grip. Hit it with a little 1000 800 or what ever suits you best. It will hook more.
Its a really durable ball that can take the punishment of many games.
I threw 17 strikes in a row with this ball. I have the taboo jet black and the brick.
But I always start out with this ball.
Its my baseline ball for leagues Game one if I need to transition I have the jet black then the brick.
This ball runs Point on my team!!! Always
And the first taboo has 500 grit on it and that is for tourny's and leagues when the humidity from outside rain makes the lanes really long!!

This is my go to ball for medium to heavy oil. This ball carries on many angles so it hard to take it out of my hand. I have shot 700 series 4 weeks in a row.
Comments about Hammer Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver:
This ball is great for regular leagues.
For tournament play it is wise to have this taboo Drilled early and sanded down to get the proper read. You shouldnt expect this ball to hook in everything if it isnt set up correctly. Best used if drilled for league shots. Early rolling balls like the BRICK are designed for EXTREME OILY (tournament) conditions. This ball loves sanded down if you need more hook. I have my ball at 800 and its just soo happy there. My original taboo is sanded down to 500 and its happy. If the ball doesnt hook enough. Sand it down it will hit like a HAMMER!!
I have a low rev RATE!!

So my average is a 143 in one league and a 158 in my other. I buy this ball, shoot my highest games ever in the first 2 months, 233 is the highest so far. Just bowled my first 600 series and did it twice in one week. This ball hits the pocket so hard and it is so forgiving, if I throw it too far out, it comes back, if too inside, even if it lands Jersey, it still hits hard. Great ball, don't look any more. In fact, don't buy it, make it easier for me to beat you.

I bowl 2 leagues and consider my skills average. This is a great ball. My average has improved and I bowled my first ever 645 series within a month of buying the ball. This ball has increased my confidence. Now if I can improve consistently getting the 10 pin.

I got this ball a couple weeks ago and let me say, wow i got much more hook than i expected. I had the raw hammer jacked before and it has a good 10 boards more hook than the jacked. very pleased with this product. it does come a little too much hook with more dry conditions.

Comments about Hammer Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver:
Bought this a few weeks ago. First two series were 570 and 599. Last night I rolled a 779 (251-261-267). My average with my last ball was 195. When this ball hits the pocket there are never any questions about the result. Everyone comments to me about the sound and explosion that this ball makes upon impact. I throw with similar style to Bob Vespi (slightly bent elbow). No cons.

Great ball if you are throwing under 14mph
but i started throwing 15+ so I need one for heavy oil conditions b/c the taboo won't turn back over if thrown faster than 14+ mph Still a great ball tho
just ordered the elite black alien heard the green is great but many upgrade to the black elite. hopefully with the heavy oil conditions its made for it'll help with my 15+ mph throw

Comments about Hammer Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver:
You will Need the old Taboo to understand this one. Best to have the whole family.
Both taboo's go long and snap in.
The original taboo in dry lanes has a smooth snap into the pocket.
When you use the New taboo in Heavy oil AKA game one in league play. It will have the smooth snap into the pocket like the old taboo. When the lanes dry up at the end of game 2 you will notice the New Taboo Start to Chop pins or snap hard. You will get splits when the lanes dry up. When this happens put the new taboo away and use the old one in the dry conditions for that smooth roll in the pocket that wont chop pins

Comments about Hammer Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver:
This ball is one of the best ever. I use to be a Storm Product user, but made the switch back to Hammer last season. Averaged 210 to 220 with Storm products, then switched to Hammer and moved up in the 220 to 225 range. Got the Taboo Pearl and now averaging between 230 to 235. Got this ball about a month and a half ago, and I have posted four 300 games already. Get this ball, you will love it.

Comments about Hammer Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver:
I got this ball from one of my teammates he hated the ball and threw it in the trash can. I got it out and had it drilled for me left hand. I seem to have no problems I have not bowled and big scores by still maintain my average of 215.

Comments about Hammer Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver:
Started bowling again after a 5-6 year layoff where I didn't bowl a single game. Started back 10 weeks ago and have a 163 league average. First game 20 minutes after having this drilled I bowled a 214. We got carried away and bowled 13 games that night. Bowled 3-4 200 plus games. Lanes dried out really dry so I put it up. Got it back out on game 12 really really dry. Moved left several boards and threw a 235. Incredible back end and finish. Once you get it figured out it is as if you can't miss the pocket. It hits harder than any ball I ever used

Love the way it hooks in heavy oil. Must change balls when lane dries out or move left to stay on the right side of head pin. Great ball!!! My new favorite for heavy oil conditions.

Comments about Hammer Taboo Dark Electric Blue/Silver:
This is the best ball I have had. I have never thrown a ball that snapped into the pocket this hard. It was like throwing a grenade at the pins. Can't wait for my Taboo spare to arrive.
I received the ball 1 1/2 days after it was shipped. Can't ask for better.
