I bowl in a league where you need a good reaction on the back end of the lane. This ball did exactly that. It was smooth through the front end which is usually heavily oiled. Once it got to the back end of the lane it hit the pocket with tremendous carry power.

I've been bowling for 35 years with the last 10 years using reactive resin balls most of the time. I've owned and used many balls and thus far this has been my favorite. Goes down the lane a long time before making a very strong back end move. I now carry almost all "light" pocket hits with destructive force. The only drawback has been that "flush" strike shots have resulted in solid/stone 8-pins and 9 pins.

this ball was actually something i won at tournament but it honestly picked up my game alot. i bowled a 787 my first series with it. im a junior bowler and i thaught this ball was gonna be to much. it is even better than my virtual gravity. I like to play about 25 boards and it comes back very nice. it drived hard into the pocket. im hoping hammer comes out with another ball like this one.

the ball has a great hook cant beat it. the only thing i dont like is the marks that show up on the ball after only a few shots cleaner is cheap for the performance u get outa the ball

I was looking for a new ball when my teammate, who owns a pro shop, suggested a few balls he thought would work best for me. I settled on the Trap because I liked what I heard and the design is awesome! This ball hooks more for me than any ball I have used or owned. I am averaging 216, which is 10 pins higher than I have ever averaged. No doubt this ball is one of the best!

All I can say is WOW
Second game out of the box 300. I kid you not. Fisnished with a 700+ Series Great Rolling Ball, nice smooth reaction through the oil. It seems when its thrown that it doesn't want to drive, but it absolutely buries the pocket. Had Original No Mercy- Great Ball, had the Black Widow Pearl- Ok, but i think i drilled it wrong.
Overall - Nothing Hits Like A Hammer :)

had it drilled then used it in a shoot out at the lanes i bowl at. shot 230,231,219, and last game of 222.. even on bad shots it was finding the pocket.. and my avg. is only 180..

Increased games from 150 to 210 in a few weeks. Love the reaction of the ball. Gives great late break and sends the pins flying. I would suggest this ball to anyone looking for a ball to give them a nice line to play when the lanes are covered with oil.

This is a great ball! Will it improve your average like others stated maybe, but not 20 pins, that's up to you! I bought this ball because I like the Hammer Jigsaw Corner.. I had it drilled almost the same with the pin right above my fingers. The ball gets down the lane a little farther than the Corner and is a little smoother on the backend...Now this ball Will skid a little out of the box if you throw it hard like I do if there is oil... But it is an easier ball to read over the Corner, it seems to roll more of an arch than just a violent move to the pocket like the corner. the Trap looks good going down the lane and hits hard.. It does need a sharp move to the pocket, if not I would leave a lot of corner pins... I throw the ball about 18-19 mph with a good amount of revs.. I'm not a cranker but close.. The Trap is a good compliment to the Corner.. it's much more versitile than the corner I average 215-220 in league and 203 in sport... this is one of the best balls I've thrown in a couple years.

I thought I loved the original Jigsaw, but when I used my friend's Trap, I knew I needed to have one. Got mine drilled pin up, and couldn't be any happier! My average went up 25 pins in just 3 games! And I'm consistently bowling from 200-220 each game, up from a 175 average with the original Jigsaw. I throw a lot of spin, and this ball will come back EVERY time! This is the PERFECT ball! NOTHING Hits Like A Hammer!!!

Got this ball in drilled up a couple of days ago at my local pro shop. All I could say was WOW. I left the cover stock as is. First game stood at about 27 and rolled the ball between the 20 and 15 arrows and the ball got through the front part of the lane with no problem and made one hell of a turn on the backend. I bowled a 215 with it after having a 10 month layoff. Next game tried an outside shot and stood about 20 board and rolled over the 10 arrow out to about 4th board and made it back to the 1-3 pocket with room to spare. Hammer has one laid one trap that is going to catch a lot of prey.

League and local tournament bowler here; for me this ball is great for the heavy oiled lanes I bowl on.

good ball for a thrower with some spin but not a lot, really neat hook at the end of the lane
