Some of the league bowlers were using this ball and started off good, but the ball stopped working. I just purchased the ball and couldnt get it to break more than 6 ". I carry a 210 average and never seen a ball out of the box perform so bad. I purchase 2 balls a year and am very upset with the results.

I have drilling pattern #1 skid/flip, no ballance weight hole was needed. Bowled in my league tonight and struck every frames except the 2nd, then started the 3rd game with the first 5 in a row. I was 1 shot away (2nd frame, 2nd game) from bowling my 1st ever 300!

Monster Ball!!! most aggressive hooking ball I have thrown. Improved my game just by adding this ball to my arsinal! When there is a puddle on a THS shot down and in works. When the lanes dry in game 2 and 3 on league move left and wheel that bad boy into the pocket. This ball allows me to play in my confort zone and before this ball I just started throwning an inside out shot to make strikes. Good thing :-) this ball in out is a must on flatter/short patterns. THS/Cheeta and Viper are the only patterns I have played on. GREAT BALL!!!! ( On higher rev rates the ball is too much for me, but lower rates 275-300 its super! for my style)

This ball is amazing! i bowl with it on all lane conditions and it pushes through most everything besides really dry lanes. it hits like a truck and splashes pins everywhere. i have a few very high end balls and this is definately still my favorite out of them all. It holds a line for longer than most balls, i usually use it all 3 games with the same line and it is outstanding. if you are considering buying this ball but arent sure, do it. you wont be dissapointed. Great ball

Ball has improved my game from about a 175 average to a 205. I know that's not much but I'm still getting use to it. I am a low rev, low to medium speed guy. This ball allows me to get alot of back end action that sends the pins flying. The only thing that I like is that the white on the ball gets extremely dirty.

Haven't bought a bowling ball in 20 yrs. Had most of the original Hammer balls, black, red, blue pearl. Couldn't get any of them to turn the corner now. I'm older, med. revs, 13 mph now. Took a chance and bought the Jigsaw, even though everyone said it was too much ball. Well, everyone was wrong! Ball hooks like a monster!!! Seemed like the old days. Yes I'm in my 50's now but I still like to see the ball break. And boy does it ever break! You can throw it wide, right out to the gutter. And baby as long as you put alittle on it, it's coming back! Hits like a freight train. Any where near the pocket(brooklyn too)and it's over. Just kills the pins. Only "problem" I had with this ball, was not enough lane on the right side. Ball return gets in the way. My old "shot" was stand on last dot on left and throw between 3rd & 4th arrows. Best spot I found w/Jigsaw was 20 boards left of that! Throwing up the 4th arrow out to the 7/8 bd. Made bowling fun again. Best buy I've ever made! Way to go Hammer!

Great ball reaction the first night of league bowling. I'm consistanly a 210 bowler and this ball would snap to the pocket every time. Averaged 240 the first five weeks. Maintained 230 the final 12 weeks of bowling in 2 leagues. Shot lots of games over 250. Love the ball.

I am league bowler with average usually 200-205. Since i bought this ball I am averaging 220-225. Right out of box i shot 786 with my previous high being 734. Also shot my first 300 with this ball. 10 frames buried in pocket but two shots i thought i had lost and sure enough they turned the corner and threw pins around. i would recommend this ball to anyone.

I've only had my HJC for 6 days and I Love it! I have a 170 average, but with the HJC, I'm sure that's going to change for the better really soon. I have not used it in league play yet, but this weekend I practiced with it. I had games of 219, 212, and 180. I did mention that I only average 170 didn't I? Not for long! Thanks Hammer.

This ball improved my bowling game by about 25pins. The ball is made for heavy and medium oils. I love the ball cause i can throw outside my mark about 5 boards and know that the ball will get back to the pocket. I love it when people see me throwing it and they watch how it hits the pocket and they ask me what ball are you throwing and i am proud to tell them it's the jigsaw corner!!

I had a 199.34 average going into the final night of bowling before the league averages were set. I needed a 627 to have a 200 average. I bought this ball before league started and threw it a few times in warm-ups (all strikes). I decided to go with my old ball. First game was 214 and the second game was a 186 which gave me a 400 with one game left. I decided to use the Jigsaw Corner for my last game and I ended up with a 279. I dropped my shoulder and the ball stayed brooklyn for a 9 count. I ended up with a 679 and a 200 book average.

My avg is from 155-160 and I ordered this ball to see what I could do. My first game was a 151 while locating the line I needed, then my second game was a 258 and 3rd game 200. 258 is the highest game I have thrown and this was my first 600 series, 609 to be exact. At leagues the next night, a guy with the same ball threw a 300. It's truly amazing!

great ball. I bought this yesterday and bowled 6 games, always hitting my avg. (avg 207) I put the pin above the bridge so i got a nice backend and hit the pocket flawlessly. light or high, i always had a nice shot and 9/10 times got a strike. I went bowling later that night on a familiar oil pattern and threw a 265. not bad for a first day with the ball, it can only get better.

I am a league bowler in south carolina for greenwood high school. This ball is the best ball i have ever hade or used in league or tournaments. this ball will do any thing you wont. it is a great hooking ball one of the best i have ever seen or used. you can even be used to pick up the ten pin. I use this ball 2 nights a week in league play. I have a 198 average, and since I started throwing this ball...I have missed out on some big 700 series.... Seems to leave alot of "CORNER" pins. Not to mention driving past the 9 pin quite often. And I only had it drilled for a "smooth arc"

When they say it, they mean it. Nothing Hits Like A Hammer. This ball is amazing. Hits the pins like a truck. I've had some bad shots that normally would leave me splits or some 3 or 4 pin spares but with the corner I get 9 pins down off of a bad shot. If you are considering this ball buy it. im a low rev and more of a stroker bowler and this ball is perfect.I got it drilled with a med track skid/flip reaction and the ball finishes nicely. This ball has a big back end and finishes strong, it also does a good job of knocking out the corner pins. the ball is good for all shots but when the house shot dries up too much, it is too much, so this ball is better for heavy oil lanes.

bought this ball for more back end than what I had and it was a perfect choice. It gives you about 2/3 roll down lane and a very strong but even turn to the pocket and is very forgiving. I am a tweener about 14 mph. and average 193. I love this ball and it is very nice looking and looks so neat going down the alley. I have thrown hammers a lot and they hit hard. Get this ball if you need a good hooking even ball.

I love this ball. I averaged 193 for the last few years and played a down and in shot. Now I can swing it like I used to and if I pull it a few boards it still holds the inside line. In 5 weeks with this ball I'm averaging 220 with a low game of 182 (first game out of the box). I would recommend this ball to anyone who wants to increase their average!

I'm a twice-a-week league bowler, and have carried a 195 average for a few years now. I picked up a demo version of the Corner two months ago, and rolled up my best series ever, a 792. How could I *not* buy this ball? Well, since then, I am averaging 212, have had another 700 series, and just this Tuesday (03-02-10) I rolled my first 300.
Nothing but good things to say about this ball. It has totally opened up my game, and given me alot more room to roam on the lane, and hits like a truck.

Last night on 3/2/10, I shot 300 right after drill @ Midway Lanes. The ball was drilled with Drill Pattern #1 per the sheet included with the ball. I noticed an aggressive rev-rate, as well as stunning pin action and carry threw out the night.

Let me start off by saying that I have never posted a review on a ball simply because I believe that with the right layout to bowling style aspect, most products have equal good and bad characteristics. However, after the first 3 weeks with the Jigsaw, I have felt compelled to share my info.

I am an above average bowler..Average between 220-230 on most leaques as well as tournaments. I am right handed, with a higher rev rate and a higher speed as well. I layed out this ball with the pin above my middle finger with the CG below my ring finger at about a 45. the MB is just to the right of my thumb hole.

Probably the most dependable ball I have ever thrown as well as the most consistant. I pulled it out the first night I got it for my fill ball in my second game after shooting 230-230 and shoot 300 out of the box. I have had the front 9 or better every night since then and have 2 award scores. I bowled in a local match play tournament this past weekend and won the tournament averaging almost 250. To top it off, I went and bowled a mixed league with my wife late that night on second oil and shot 821.

I have never had a ball that would react this consistent and hit this hard no matter what the lane pattern or how much it changed.

GREAT JOB HAMMER!!! Looking forward to your next project....

I'm a league bowler who averages 220 bowling 1 night a week and practicing about 6 games a week. Right out of the box with only 2 practice games I shot a 735 with a 279 in the middle. This ball distroys the pins. I use to be a stroker but now I'm a tweener with this ball.

I have always owned a hammer, but i don't think any of my other hammers would ever compare to this one.. i had the venom, the anger, no mercy and black widow. and this ball wow.... i can miss my mark but a few boards and watch this thing smash the pocket.. and i love the drive, this thing kicks out all the 10 pins.. i bowled my 1st 700 in open bowling.. a 757 i cant wait to bowl with it in a league. i can see my average go up for 190 to 200 in a few weeks. the best part is i can play any place on the lane 1st arrow or move left and put it out over second arrow and watch it walk right in.. but one thing i will tell you about this ball you do have to move left and quick.. when the lanes dry up this ball is harder to keep on the right side of the head pin. I wanted to purchased this ball after looking at some videos on youtube. I finally said it is time to buy it, I went to Lafayette, In and had Tom Drill it for me. The first time I throw the ball in leagues I averaged 209. I will say that it change my whole approach and release. This ball has an amazing hook, and it just destroys the pins when it hits the pocket. Best ball I have thrown, in my own opinion it is more aggressive than my Maxx, or my Cell.

Bought this ball to improve my shot on slick lanes and Oh boy does it react. I already have the original jigsaw and the corner is about 5 to 6 boards stronger and finishes much better. I have shot more 700's with these 2 balls in 6 months than i shot in the 20 years I've been bowling. Several of my friends have this ball and love it. Hammer has done a great job once again.

I am a lower rev bowler with a smooth delivery and decent speed.

I have been bowling in this league for only 1 season. My average was 126 before I picked up the Corner 3 weeks ago. I bowled my first 557 series last night. 226, 162 and a 169. My team's jaws were on the floor.

Even if I am a little off my target this ball snaps to and nails it. AND it's so predictable that picking up spares is a breeze.

I highly recommend this ball if you need to or want to dramatically improve your game.

I am an average bowler. I am an up and in player. The first time that i threw the ball had to make a 10-15board move. I tend to put a little bit of speed on the ball, but with this one, i can throw the ball hard, and still watch it come back. first game out of the box 206. not that impressive, but my average at that bowling center is 170. tried a few different things the second game, still getting a feel for it. still shot my average. next three games were all in the 220's. The ball didnt have quite the snap at the end I was hoping for, but wow does it throw the pins around. This ball was an upgrade from the amf mega friction. This ball saved my bacon on a few occasions. If i threw it wide it still came back in for at least 9, throw it inside and one of two things would happen, either a brooklyn strike or a headpin that should have been a big split but with the impact it puts on the pins the splits were rare, only happened once in six games actually. So far best ball i have had.

This is my first new ball in about 15 years. I used to have a 175 average, but it has dropped to 140 or so lately. in my first game with this ball, i threw 5 strikes and i threw 4 in the second. The only problem i had was picking up the 10 pin. I found that i could hit the head pin on either side and still get a strike almost every time. I will probably buy another hammer ball with less hook for the 10 pin.

I love the way this ball hooks and also just how forgiving it is. You make a bad shot it still comes back in. I am now throwing about 7 boards to the left of where I am used to, aiming at the second arrow to right, it comes in and explodes the pins.

I am a 20 year league bowler and will say this is one of the easiest balls I have ever thrown. Very forgiving. I am not the most consistant but with this ball I am starting my approach more to the left hitting my mark, the ball does the rest. My second game with this ball was a 235.

I average 190-ish and decided to give this Hammer product a try after being very disappointed in a pearl Black Widow.

I swear... I can't tell the balls apart. My old Brunswick Rampage outhooks, outhits, and outcarried this ball. Maybe it's just about making the prettiest ball with a cool name? If so, this ball wins: it is gorgeous. Save some money and buy a Mutant Cell or some other non-Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia (all the same company) product.

I am not impressed.

Wow.. this ball really had me thinking.. im a low rev guy with slow to med. speed. So, im not used to heavy hooking balls. So i struggled all through league( first time bowling with it) but after league i stayed for 3 games and i finally got the hang of the ball.. and i bowled my 1st 200 and my first 500 series with a 210 159 182.. not bad for someone averaging 147! GREAT BALL.. gotta love it!

Just threw first 2 games with the Jigsaw Corner fresh out of the box, factory surface, drilled for heavy oil, medium track player.

I'm a low rev league bowler, have struggled with sloppy backends and heavier oil. Difference was extraordinary, this ball let me move about 5-10 boards left and throw across the lane and it still came back in ways i couldnt with my No Mercy Beatn or a couple of older heavy hooking balls. After a warm up with the Beatn, I threw the Corner for ten strikes in a row, first game 242, second game 248, only misses were all me, and I easily picked up a 5-7 split with it by just throwing like at the 10 pin like i normally would.

first league effort is tonight but i was pleased enough with the practice games to want to write it up

This Bowling ball comes back from any where... Im a down and in bowler and i avg 210. If i shot a bad shot or drop the ball it still recovers... This ball has a nose for the pocket and once it gets closer to it destination for me which is the 1 and the 3 it hits soooooo hard!
I have the Original JIGSAW as well... The corner hooks and hooks hard... If u have alot of hand i truly recommend u stand left.. This ball is for Heavy oil... any dry or medium dry lanes FORGET ABOUT IT!
