I went to this ball after using a Brunswick Radical Inferno. With the inferno I carry a 218 average, with this ball a 208. I have been leaving lots of 10 pins with this ball. I rolled two games last week with this one, 199 and 181, then went back to the Radical Inferno the last game and shot a 300. This ball will be sold or placed in the trash. Just ordered a Evil Siege.

I'm very frustrated with my Nasty!!!! I threw 3 games last night and had 7 splits!!!! I'm not sure if it's the Nasty itself or maybe I got a ball with a bad core? They say it's a hammer but it don't hit like one! It's pretty sad when my original Black Widow do better than my Nasty! I'm really thinking about doing away with Hammer and throw something else if I'm gonna spend all this money on Hammer to get a bad product!!!!!!

Was not very impressed with this ball. I bought it to replace my Zone and it did not live up to the reviews i read. just not happy with it. it hooks moderate and seems to fade on hit. just dont have the krunch at the end

Had the ball set up for length without much flare. Easy to throw from extreme outside starting from far left (RH) to a much straighter shot just by changing angle of rotation and revs. Ball hits hard on all lines. When flattened out for spares, it holds the line true. On dry lanes a lot of speed is needed to keep it on line but on medium oil it can still be made to run long without muscling it. I'm always looking for a long reactive ball and this one fits the bill excellent.

i got this ball for my birthday a month ago and it is the best ball ive ever had it hooks way more then my widow venom..it cant get better than this ball... if u want a ball for low or medium revolution players..this is the ball for you..even when u throw it to far to the right(right handed bowlers) it still hooks into the pocket =^]

When I first used "The Nasty", it's name is very appropriate. The reaction of the ball is just great, it's such an ease to bowl with. Just let "The Nasty" do it's thing, you don't have to fight it, it will break at the end with great volacity and power. Great color, works well on medium to heavy oiled lanes and pretty good on dry ones. Years back I also had Hammer "Rhino", so I know I'm getting a good quality ball. I'm glad that I chose the Hammer Black Widow "Nasty".

I had it drilled in Reno at Men's Nationals and it fit like a glove. First game had a 205. I have told people about this ball on league. It really works for me and I have increased my average fromm 177 to 184 in 2 months at the end of the season. I am a hammer person.

This ball hits better than a hammer hits like a truck. Monsterous backend but very controlable, best ball ever. This ball is better than my 2 month old mission. I wish I had bought this ball earlier and so do you. There's not enough words to describe this ball. Has the best backend motion I recommend you too do the 4th layout shown in pic. This is excellent length with smooth backend. IMPORTANT CLEAN WITH EBONITE CLEAN AND DULL OR ANYTHING LIKE ACIDTONE AFTER EVERY TIME BOWLING. Hope you read that because that will keep the ball hooking more than new. Well thats about it take my advice and buy this ball.

This is actually my first bowling ball ever owned.
Of course when i first received the ball, it worked very well. I scored over 200 after the first couple of games (and trust me, I was quite the bowling novice)

I finally decided to upgrade from my old 3D Offset to the Black Widow Nasty. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and I have yet to figure it out. I have never left this many pocket splits, and I even left a pocket 4-6 today. The pin action is incredible, just don't miss your mark.

I was not much of a Hammer fan since I had my Blue Urethane Hammer and it was made by Faball. The Black Widow Nasty is a great ball. My wife gave me this ball as a Christmas present. My avg. at the time was 194, now as of March 28th my avg went to 205. I have shot plenty of series above 675. This week I had my best series yet, a 735 series-248,223,264/ This is the best ball I had since the Brunswick Danger Zone.... I love doing the Nasty!!!

I was in the market for a new ball. Having bowled with the original Black Widow and not having any complaints about it. I figure I would get the BLACK WIDOW NASTY. Let me tell you it was the best investment I have made. Right out of the box I shot a 278 fallowed by a 279.. the ball is amazing ..I went to practice the fallowing week and for 6 games I avg a 230.. Since I have had the ball I have had high games of 279,278,289,290 . The ball already payed it self off.. THANKS HAMMER For been so NASTY!

Im a 226 average league bowler. Im a righthanded down and in bowler with good amount of revs,but with this ball i can move to the left and swing the ball out,like a cranker and the ball comes back from anywhere!One of my goals has always been to shoot a 800 series,with "THE NASTY" i did just that on 2/28/10 I shot a 278,300,277 for a (855 series)!! I put tremendus revs on the ball and got the ball drilled very aggressively and throw the ball from the far left gutter to the far right gutter right into the pocket. have used it on tons of oil and it worked tremendously good.

this ball is all about your speed control. the rev on the backend can change your game. all the reviews say not a spare ball but i can bring the rev down and almost bowl this ball striaght. no problems picking the ten, deffinately not picking anything left of the head pin. this ball drives down long and striaght and just when you think you missed your mark it turns on a dime like gps directed to the pocket. be careful with this thing in dry though or you WILL be in the gutter. the jacket on this beast is the bomb blowing up and nocken um back. it soaks up oil and may need a wipe. break out the nasty you will love this aggresion.

First time I rolled this ball I nailed 5 strikes in a row with this bad boy. Great ball but this thing hooks like a beast and you will need to shine this ball up a bit on light to mid oil lanes to cut out some of the friction. You can throw this ball anywhere on the lane and it recovers nicely. So this is now my #1 ball of all time... Highly recommended and please keep up the good work Hammer. You guys rock!!!!

Threw two games practice on lanes with some really dry lane conditions. 188 average on old ball, 651 best series. First league night at regular lanes with this ball I threw my first 700 series (256, 236, 215). Ball cranks hard on the backend and hits hard. I only left one split all night.

The Black Widow Nasty is probably the hardest hitting ball I own at this time. This ball goes long and snaps hard at the end. I received this ball as a Xmas present from my wife and had it drilled up on January 2nd and I sat down all of my other balls. My avg. was 194 when I first started using it, now I am up to 202 and steady climbing up... Highest game so far with this ball is 279, but I have had many 250 plus games with the Nasty... I would advise anyone that needs a shot arm to get this ball.... Completely awesome hitting power.

I bowl a few times a week. I have only used this ball for about 20 games or so. First game with it I shot a 265. This ball does come back from just about anywhere. I have pulled a few shots and the ball stayed nicely in the oil. I haven't used it for any spares yet. I have only left a couple of weak tens and most of the time its because of my own error. This ball hits very well and I am pleased with it.

I was league a bowler 25 years ago with a 145 average. (haven;t bowled since) Just joined a work league after Xmas. I got the feaver. My old ball wasn't cutting the mustard. Read the reviews on the Nasty and got one. I bowled last night, a 200 with 6 turn your back walk away strikes, cause you know its there confidence!!! 2nd game was a 179. Now I need a straighter ball for those 10 pin spares. You would be lucky to hit the 6 pin with the Nasty!! then I got tired and we won't talk about the 3rd game. My wife whooped on me the third game!! We are taking the family and kids (grand kids too) bowling this week end on valentines day. Its NASTY GREAT!!! PS went from a 16lb to a 14lb, saved my shoulder!!!

I bowled my highest game ever, a 258 last week. My average is climbing from 155, since I started using this ball 2 weeks ago. This ball consistently finishes great with a lot of rotation. Would recommend this to anyone.

Great ball for all of you ladies and Gentlemen rolling a mean hook. Just got this ball drilled and first game I played I hit 5 strikes in a row with it. You really have to adjust the amount of hook though on this ball or you will come all the way across the pins for a gutter. Once you get the right speed and Rev down according to lane condition this ball flat out drives the pins. Medium to heavy oil lanes break this baby out!! If its dry switch to a medium Hook ball(Resin). New Hammer fan for life...

Just got mine drilled up yesterday 202,247 right after it got drilled at the Lanes where I bought it. Broke it out for league that night I average 215, shot 719 right out of the box, 236,268,215. Ball has great length and super turn to the pocket. Will turn from anywhere! but you have to throw it, I got a few under 13mph and they just dove! Super thru the heads, cleans them off the deck like no other Hammer I've owned! and I've owned just about all the great hammers, threw 300,801 with my Zilla back it 07, sorry that ball got retired, have been throwing a Pearl hot sauce since January of last year, super ball, hammer keeps chugging them out! Would recomend this ball to alot of players, who play down and in or slight swing! 13mph plus! on the ball speed! mine was drilled for a full roller, as all my others are! you won't be dissapointed!

With this ball you can get away with a lot as long as you keep your ball in the area of your mark it will be so consist for you it crazy! Like i said i shot my 1st 300 with this ball in a league and I'm only 21 years old. I do not think hammer can top this ball the best one by far! Get it trust me!!! 1st night, ball wanted to "squirt" out too far with only moderate excess speed. I took the surface to 2000 Abralon, and next night shot 720, (I'm a 204 Ave.) Ball still had the great backend, but was much more controllable. I would definitely recommend this ball, especially to those that like the Widow Bite. (It's like the Bite on Steroids).

I Only use the widows. I have all 6 and love everyone of them. I have them all drilled different for all types of oil patterns. The nasty works great gets long down the lane super easy and the ball has a very smooth arc to the pocket using the #4 layout. And the NASTY hits the pocket hard and keeps the pins very low to the deck!!

Got the Nasty on friday have put 30 games on it and I have never seen a ball smell out the pocket like this. Get it close and it will carry the rest deadly pin action from Brooklyn and back. Average 189 -201 in 4 leagues with various patterns and on oil you cannot beat this ball. Have yet to throw under 200 with this. Hammer scores again with the nasty the only thing is if its dry or the shot is burnt up leave it in the bag however on league play and tournaments you have to have this in your arsenal.

Me being a average leauge bowler, my average was 165 and i had never hit over a two hundred in league but i got this ball for christmas and yesturday was the first time i thrown it. Lets just say after 5 games my average was 208 so lets just say this ball has done great things for me and i will continue to use and enjoy it thanks

I am a average league bowler. My average this year is 169. After adjusting my second game out of the box I shot 269 by high all year!

The bowl seem to react well through heavy oil conditions and was easy to adjust once the lanes dried up. I consistently shot 10-15 pins over my average all night and even had my year high tonight. I can only see it getting better from here.

Great ball much more back end then my widow pearl. It is nasty on the back end thats for sure :0). Get it if you want a aggressive yet easy to control ball!!
