This is the perfect spare ball, it goes where you throw it, i use it for 10 pins, 6 pins, or anything combiniation on the right side . It's the best spare ball i've ever had and it has a very hard surface so i should have it for years to come.

What can I say, it's a spare ball. You throw it just like you throw your normal hook ball and it stays straight toward your target (usually the 9 or 10 pin for me).
I told my pro shop guy that I wanted the most obnoxious orange ball that I could find as a spare ball and this one fits the bill.
I've seen a lot of dull spare balls and they tend to grip a little more and actually break on the back-end. I like the polish on this ball because as long as I don't flip it or throw it way to slow it goes straight every time.
