Comments about Columbia Blue Dot:

I owned a Columbia Blue Dot for about 18 months before the thumb hole and one of the finger holes began to disintegrate. The outer cover chipped away until I was unable to use it for fear of cutting my hand. I considered plugging the holes & re-drilling, but hairline cracks around the holes caused me to change my mind & just discard the ball.

While it lasted, it was a fantastic ball.

It has been several years since this happened, so I'm not sure if Columbia has made improvements in the cover stock. I hope so.

Comments about Columbia Blue Dot:

One morning in our Senior League, the lane machine had broken down and the lanes were dry and streaked from the previous night. While others were fighting the lanes with more aggressive balls, I pulled out my blue dot, cranked it, and threw straight at the pocket. I shot 658, but the most fun was irritating some of the really good bowlers who would never stoop to such drastic measures.
