Activator Plus Coverstock - The Anaconda is the first ball with Activator Plus coverstock available at the Advanced Performance price point. Activator Plus is a more aggressive version of the original Activator coverstock formulation that maintains the durability and longevity of ball reaction that are characteristic of the Activator coverstock family. The rough-buff, pearlized version of Activator Plus coverstock used on the Anaconda creates more traction in the oil, increasing the ball?s midlane and back-end hooking action, while still being clean through the front-end.
Ultra Low RG Inferno Core - The Anaconda uses an updated version of the Original Inferno core. The Ultra Low RG Inferno core revs quickly providing mid-lane traction control with a strong predictable back-end motion.
Ball Motion - With its Rough Buff finish, the Anaconda will rev quickly in the mid-lane with a strong continuous back-end reaction that matches up on medium to medium-oily lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.
Reaction Setup - The Anaconda can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric bowling balls.
Lightweight Engineering - The unique core shape of each Brunswick ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. The same drilling instructions can be used for 12- and 13-pound balls. This is because Brunswick uses a generic core shape with an RG differential that is close enough to the 14-16 pound shape.

Ball responds same way every roll med/heavy oil. Hits hard, good pin action. Haven't tried on dry lane yet. Easy to control for spare pick-up.

Comments about Brunswick Anaconda:

I have only been bowling seriously for just over a year and am still using the beginners ball I purchased. I won the Anaconda in a raffle and the first night I used it I rolled 210, 225 and 250 respectively. I only have a 155 average. This ball has great grip and has given me great confidence. My game has improved dramatically.

Wonderful ball, 2nd best ball I've had

Comments about Brunswick Anaconda:

I've been bowling since I was 3. I'm 27 now and bought after mixed reviews. I never go with the norm and hushed the skeptics! This ball is fantastic, I've been throwing a Brunswick Danger Zone 2 ball drilled to go long and come back hard since that ball was new (I know a long time ago). This ball is just as good if not better! Drives hard and is very controllable. Literally right out of the box, first ball I rolled walked right to the pocket and stayed consistent. Made adjustments after the lane oil started to break down, and it still perfromed beautifully. For the price and results..I'm satisfied!

The Perfect Benchmark Ball!
By Chad RobertsVerified Reviewer from Reynoldsburg, Ohio on 9/21/2010

Comments about Brunswick Anaconda:

The Anaconda is absolutely amazing! I haven't found a place or shot that I didn't like it on. Its been the first ball out of my bag every night for league since I've gotten it and works amazing for a benchmark ball at tournaments. I drilled the pin up at 5 1/2 inches from my PAP,which placed in right above my bridge, and put the cg just to the right of my center of grip at 5 inches from my PAP. The ball pick up and continues through the pin deck, which works great for both fresh and carry down because the ball doesn't have too drastic or to subtle of a reaction. It also allows me to manipulate the ball reaction down lane because the motion isn't too jerky or too smooth.

Very good ball
By Still looking for 8Verified Reviewer from Chandler, AZ on 9/7/2010
Pros:
Continuous roll, Predictible Roll, Solid reaction
Cons:
Need oily lanes, Not for dry lanes
Best Uses:
League conditions, Some sport patterns
Bottom Line:

Comments about Brunswick Anaconda:

I got this ball from a friend that doesn't like Brunswick products. Even with a 6" pin this ball rolls great on well oiled lanes. I was able to play this ball deep and swing it on a 42' house shot. Even though the lanes are high friction, I do believe that this ball could do well on less friction lanes.
