Comments about AMF Mega Friction:

If you have a lot of hand this ball won't be at box finish long. This was the first AMF ball I purchased and it has several hundred games and it is still a beast. With proper care and the occasion baking this ball will last several seasons. It is definite must for those long heavy sport patterns and with polish it can works well on a house shot.

Comments about AMF Mega Friction:

I bought this ball as an upgrade from a Hammer Vibe. Loved the ball out of the box, three weeks after having it I bowled my first 300. As time went on I noticed it wasn't hooking as great. It seemed after about 100-150 games I had to adjust my start point, I still use this ball, it is very controllable and still helps the occassional bad throw. But as I mentioned its lost some of its potential and my Vibe is now the more aggressive ball of the two. On a good note, I can now hit a 10 pin with it!

if you were to choose between a hammer jigsaw or a amf mega friction choose the mega friction when people say this ball hooks like a charm they MEAN it because at least you get a garenty the ball hooks i mean it says it on the side of the ball

Comments about AMF Mega Friction:

I throw a high rev rate. This ball came out of the box and was put to the test on a 53 foot pattern and it finished clean. Then I took it to league and shot 807 with its first time seeing house. But then soon after the mega friction stopped finding friction. TO this day its still a very useful ball and carries great

Comments about AMF Mega Friction:

I'm a medium rev bowler, 190 average, so, definitely not a review from a pro here, but: This ball is great. The one problem I am having with it is, it's hard to control. I think it's kind of a blessing in disguise because I am learning how to increase my speed while keeping control. The backend is pretty good, not great, hits fairly solid, but that might be my bowling style. Overall an 8 out of 10 for me.
