Comments about 900 Global 900Global Bank Pearl:
I have my Bank Pearl drilled with the pin up. I love this ball on dry conditions. It gives me great length and strong back end. For me the Bank Pearl's length is awesone when the heads are fried. When I need a ball with a strong skid-flip reaction, this is always my ball of choice!

Comments about 900 Global 900Global Bank Pearl:
The new Bank Pearl is an awesome bowling ball and a great compliment to the original Bank (for those of you that have purchased that ball.)
I have three Bank Pearls. The first Bank Pearl I drilled (shown in the picture below), is just my normal layout. (I always like to put my normal layout on a ball when I'm first trying it out, and then I change it up a little if I love the ball and want to drill more.) The reaction of this ball is a very strong backend motion, skid/flip, when this ball sees friction. The pearl cover makes the ball go pretty long, so this ball (out of the box) needs to see some friction to hook. However, if you take alittle bit of the shine off of the ball, you will see the ball hook in oil, but still have a huge backend.
I drilled another Bank Pearl - pin below my middle finger, CG straight down and mass bias straight below my thumb, and it's set up to be pretty mild. Anotherwords, I calmed down the backend reaction and set the ball up to be a little bit more controllable, so I could use it on drier PBA or sport shot patterns.
My third Bank Pearl (also shown below), was drilled for me at the PBA Tournament of Champions. With this layout, I was able to play right off the corner and allow my ball to read the lanes without overhooking in the dry. It makes a hook/stop reaction, which also gave me a little tug room.
Overall this ball, has a great shape on both house patterns and Tougher PBA and sport shots. On house patterns, you can open up the lane with this ball (i.e. stand left and throw right and have it come back) or you can utilize this ball towards the end of league when the lanes start to change and you need a ball to get further down the lane, but still hook on the back end.

Comments about 900 Global 900Global Bank Pearl:
First of all, I am not a staffer. I have no contract or anything like that with company. This bank pearl is a tremendous ball on the house patterns with the six games I have thrown on it in my late league so far 257,217,300,245,257,258. I have an original bank where basically I put the pin right under the center of my fingers in the grip with my cg directly below it. My mass bias was kicked out about an 1 1/2 at about five o'clock. I like it, but once I had to start getting left of about 15, the core was just so heavy it would stop up and roll out. So I knew when I drilled this pearl I wanted to put my mass bias closer to my thumb. I basically put my pin right above ring with cg in grip and drilled most of mb with thumbhole. I lay the ball down fairly early and am what you would call a powerstroker. With this layout on a late league houseshot, IT IS A BEAST!!! When I get in the oil, the combination of coverstock and core, just carries out that midpocket hit and shreds the rack. And with taming the core down for my hand it just peels right off the dries and has a great shape!! I would highly recommend this ball for a league pattern. I also used this layout on chameleon pattern on the fresh for the 2nd and 3rd games and shot. 217,211,223. So with weaker layouts to tame core down, it will work well pba experience patterns also after you get them broken down a little.

Comments about 900 Global 900Global Bank Pearl:
Had a chance to throw mine this week in an AMF synthetic house, 40ft pattern. Surface is older and has had a lot of play on it over the years. This house plays real wet/dry. A normal night in this 5 man scratch league its very common to see 8-10's and 5-7's on pulled shots. Moving in isn't really an option here, carry isn't the greatest for almost everyone on the right side, very speed sensitive. You need to be versatile and have a ball that is versatile and will read the lane, not overreact to the track area. That's where the Bank Pearl comes in!
OOB finish high polish. I was a little nervous about too much skid/flip but no worries here! My ball speed is around 15-16. I can't play in the "dirt" but I can play the edge with the right ball and layout. Drilled the BP (undrilled spec's of 15.3, 2-3" pin, 3 oz top) nothing flashy, 4 by 4 stacked, good drilling for me in this house.
Well can't ask for more than I got. 299-268-256 for an 823! Awesome pin carry. Slapped and ton of 10's and tripped a bunch of 4's. Seemed to always want to roll up in the midlane just enough to carry. Would also lay-off enough to trip the high hit. I'd say more roll and overall hook than the Profit. Not as skid/flippy but has a definite backend roll/pop. What was impressive is that I used my normal release game 1 for 299. Games 2 and 3 as the track area dried I was able to stay where I was - around 16 at the arrows to 12 and take some hand out and still carry. I didn't want to move in with the look I had and this ball's consistent roll and tendency to not overreact to dry let me stay in a comfort zone and helped me to a nice night. Since first time throwing I've had 760, 741, 289, 290 and 298!
The Bank Pearl is a great addition to the line! It fits a nice niche in the pearlized ball category, consistent roll and backend reaction.
Thank you 900 Global!

I drilled this ball 4.5 x 4 with my PAP being 4 9/16, and 3/8 up.
The shot was a THS of around 38ft.
Once again another great product from 900 Global. This ball has great back end, I will say that I did not see a great deal of skid/flip, but a hard strong continuous back end. I will say that a few times if I came around the ball and got it a little out early I would then see the famous skid/flip action, just about like any ball someone might throw. I drilled this ball 4.5 x 4 with my PAP being 4 9/16, and 3/8 up.
All in all once again I am glad to say that once again global has produced another great high performance ball.. If your looking for something that will get great length and have a strong and hard continuous back end. Then I say the bank pearl is something you should add to your arsenal.
Get yours at your local pro shop Jan. 13, and be ready to bank on bowling high scores.

Comments about 900 Global 900Global Bank Pearl:
Pro Shop owner, avid bowler. Ball was sent as a promotional ball from Eric Thomas. Many thanks to 900G/AMF for their generosity. #15/4, 3.75, 3-4"
Drilled pin up a 4-1/4 pin to pap, 2" buffer, Mb 5-1/2" to pap, puts thumb hole just outside of thumb slug, x-hole at P3. very clean up front, effortless through the heads with enough lope to conserve plenty of energy. The high gloss polish helps !! the back end is very angular, yet stable something I really didn't expect. Has excellent continuation through the deck, responds from anywhere, without the "boomer rang" effect you get when most high friction pearl covers over react to the dry. A great bleld of back end hook with excellent control !!!!! A ball with plenty of shelf appeal and the attitude on the lanes to prove it.
